What we love about tented events is that we can customize the tent to fit your needs. Here are some helpful tips on how we calculate the size of tent you will need.

Event or Gathering Space
Weddings Receptions: 20 sq. Ft. per person--This option includes everything from seating to the dance floor and buffet lines
Wedding Ceremonies: 7 sq. Ft. per person--This option includes enough space for rows of chairs, aisle way, and space up front for the officiant and wedding party.
Picnics: 12 sq. Ft. per person--This option includes space for seating at banquet tables and comfortable aisle ways.
Cocktail Parties: 6-8 sq. Ft. per person--This option includes space for comfortable standing and mingling.
Silent Auction: 150 sq. Ft. per table--This includes room for people to gather in front of the table to browse items and bid.
Retail Space: 150-200 sq. Ft. per table--This includes room for people to stand and browse in front of the table of merchandise.
Tradeshow Booth: 150-200 sq. Ft. per booth--This includes room for a 10’x10’ booth along with aisle space.
Seating Space for Meals
Kings Table: 20 sq. Ft. per person--This includes space for the wedding party to sit at one large table, facing each other with the bride and groom at the head of the table.
Sweethearts table sizing: 75 sq. Ft. per table --This includes room for the bride and groom to sit at a small table with an aisle in front.
Guest seating for a Buffet Dinner: 10-14 sq. Ft. per person--This option includes space for everyone sat at tables and comfortable aisle ways for a buffet service. Additional room will be needed for the buffet stations.
Guest seating a Plated/Family Style/Tableside Wine Service Dinner: 12-16 sq. Ft. per person--This option includes space for everyone sat at tables and comfortable aisle ways for a plated, family style, or table side wine service.
Space for Food or Beverage Service
Appetizer Table: 150 sq. Ft. per table--This includes room for people to gather in front of the table to pick up appetizers and a small line.
Single Sided Buffet/Food Station Line: 80 sq. Ft. per table --This includes room for space between the buffet and tables, as well as guests to go down one side.
Double sided buffet line: 100 sq. Ft. per table--This includes room for space between the buffet and tables, as well as guests to go down both sides of the buffet.
Carving/Action Station: 100 sq. Ft. per table--This includes room for space between the carving station and tables, as well as guests to go down one side, which someone serves on the other.
Specialty Bar (Candy, Late Night Snack ect): 100 sq. Ft. per table --This includes room for guests to gather in front of the table to pick up their treats.
Cake cutting and service Table: 75 sq. Ft. per table --This includes room for a formal cake cutting as well as a small line in front for cake pick up.
Full or Partial Bar: 150 sq. Ft. per bar--This includes room for a bartender to stand behind the table and a small line in front.
Beverage Station: 150 sq. Ft. per table--This includes room for people to gather in front of the table to pick up beverages and a small line.
Entertainment/Presentation Space
Classroom seating at Banquet tables: 12 sq. Ft. per person --This option includes enough space for one side of the banquet table to be seated for a presentation with aisle ways.
Theater style seating: 6-8 sq. Ft. per person --This option includes enough space for rows of chairs, aisle way, and space up front for the speaker.
Staged Presentation: 35 sq. Ft. per person--This is the amount needed per person for a standing presentation at a lectern. Additional space may be needed if a table is desired for the presentation.
Dance Floor Sizing: 4 sq. Ft. per person --This gives an accurate account on how much room it takes for each person to dance. We usually suggest somewhere between 35-50% of your guest being able to dance at one time. Every party is different, keep that in mind when running the numbers.
Staging for a Band: 35 sq. Ft. per band member --This accounts for the space the stage takes up plus and aisle around the stage.
DJ Area: 100 sq. Ft. per DJ--This includes room for the DJ to stand and move around.
Auxillary Table Space
Registration Table: 150 sq. Ft. per table--This includes room for a greater to stand/sit behind the table to check people in as well as a small line in front of the table.
Gift Table: 50 sq. Ft. per table--This includes room between the gift table and guest tables
Memories Table: 50 sq. Ft. per table--This includes room for a table and a few people to gather in front to look at photos.
Escort Card Table: 100 sq. Ft. per table--This includes room for people to gather in front of the escort cards to find their seat location and a small line.
Door Prizes: 100 sq. Ft. per table--This includes room for people to gather in front of the table to pick up the door prizes and a small line.
Packet/Information Pick UP: 150 sq. Ft. per table --This includes room for people to stand behind the table and a small line in front.
